COLIN FIRTH – $25 MILLION
Colin Firth, the actor who played the stammering king in the blockbuster film The King’s Speech is no letdown in real life. He was born in 1960 to a family of academics and professors. Just as when they thought that their son would follow in their footsteps, from an early age, Colin already knew that an ordinary life with an ordinary job is not the one for him. As such, he enrolled in the Drama Centre London to hone his acting skills instead of attending a normal university.
Eventually, this multifaceted actor rose to fame after taking on the role of Mr. Darcy in the 1995 TV drama Pride and Prejudice. It was his role in The King’s Speech, however, that propelled him to international stardom. Indeed, that acting credit made his career as he won the prized Academy Award for Best Actor in 2011. With everything he has achieved, his parents must be so proud of him.
